CR Cafe's pricing engine gives every station type its own weekday and weekend tiers, its own day and night rates, and — for consoles — a rate that scales with how many players are actually on the controller. A flat, optional night surcharge covers late sessions once per booking instead of compounding hour by hour, and every session bills at whichever rate was in force the moment it was booked.

Do I need to install anything on my gaming PCs?
The CR Cafe dashboard runs in the cloud; a lightweight agent runs on each gaming PC to enable remote lock/unlock, monitoring and control from that dashboard.
Can CR Cafe switch on PCs that are powered off?
Yes, with Wake-on-LAN. A wake packet has to be sent from inside your own network, so a small relay app runs on an always-on PC such as the one at the counter. It is not a station and never counts towards your station limit. Each gaming PC needs Wake-on-LAN enabled in its BIOS and a wired Ethernet connection.
How do console players see how much time they have left?
A console cannot show a session timer itself, so CR Cafe supports small wall-mounted session displays beside each console. They show how long the booking has been running and can beep before time is up.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Staff can still unlock a PC with an offline passphrase, which each station checks locally without the server. Every offline unlock is recorded and reported to the dashboard when the connection returns.
Can members start a session without coming to the counter?
Yes. A member can log in at the PC lock screen with their own username and password and pay from their wallet. The price is always worked out on the server, and wallet time is bought an hour at a time.
